Are you open year-round?
Yes! We have 5 cabins that are open year-round. In the summer we have 11 cabins available for rent!

Are you pet-friendly?

What lake are you located on?
South Manistique Lake just 4 miles south of Curtis, Michigan. Our resort is right next to the public boat launch for easy lake access!

Do you have a nightly minimum?
Yes. During the summer, we have a 7-night minimum (Saturday to Saturday only). In the fall/winter we have a 2-night minimum.

Do you have free internet?
Yes! We have satellite internet (Hughes Net)!
​
Do you have boats for rent in the summer/early fall?
Yes! Each cabin comes with a row boat for free! Then we also have pontoon boats, fishing boats, and motors for rent! Contact us for more details!

Do you have trailer parking?
Yes, we have an area where boat and snowmobile trailers can be parked!
​
Are your cabins non-smoking?
Yes, there is no smoking (marijuana or cigarettes) inside the cabin.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes. For summer rentals we require a $200 deposit and for fall/winter rentals we require a $100 rental
​
Do the cabins have a cleaning fee?
No! These are housekeeping cabins, which means they are equipped with a vacuum and cleaning supplies. We simply ask that guests "tidy up" after their stay.

Do you accept credit cards?
Of course! We accept all major credit cards, cash, and checks!
​
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4p.m. and check-out is at 10a.m.
​
Do you provide linens?
We do provide all bedding linens. New to this year, we provide hand towels, wash cloths, and bath towels. We do NOT provide beach towels.

Do you offer any discounts?
We offer a 10% discount to veterans, active military, law enforcement, and healthcare workers!

Pet Policy at Sunset Pines Resort
We love traveling with our husky, Theo so we want to do everything we can to allow you to enjoy your vacation with your pup!
Here are a few of our requirements when it comes to bringing your dog:
​
-There is a $35 pet fee per pet and reservation.
​
-We only allow one dog per cabin (if wanting to bring more than one, please contact us).
​
-All dogs must be less than 100 lbs.
​
-All dogs should be well-mannered, spayed/neutered, and bathroom trained.
​
-Dogs must have all vaccinations up to date.
​
-Dogs must be free from fleas, ticks, and other infectious diseases.
​
-Dogs must never be left unattended for an extended amount of time in the cabins.
​
-Guests are responsible for all pet waste clean-up.
​
-Dogs are not allowed to urinate or defecate in the cabin
​
-Dogs that bark continuously will not be permitted.
​
-We ask that pets stay off furniture so please bring proper bedding for pets.
​
-If you are interested in bringing a pet other than a dog or bringing multiple dog, please contact us!
​
-Guest is responsible to pay for any damages caused by pet.
​
-We reserve the right to refuse a pet.
